Senior Coordinator, Industry Registration

Reporting to the Manager, Industry Office, the Senior Coordinator of Industry Registration oversees the registration process of all industry professionals attending the TIFF Kids International Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of online registration for all industry professionals attending the TIFF Kids and the Toronto International Film Festival
• Manage a small team Industry Registration Assistants
• Maintain the highest standards of customer service
• Foster and retain client relationships
• Manage the Industry Registration outreach programme; identifies and attracts new industry professionals for TIFF Kids and Festival participation
• Lead Onsite Registration and Pass Pick-Up desks in the Industry Office
• Write a detailed post mortem following the Toronto International Film Festival

Contract Dates:  February 24, 2014 – October 18, 2014

Minimum Requirements

• Two years experience coordinating staff
• Previous professional experience in business administration or arts administration is required
• A strong interest or academic background in Film Studies is required
• Proficient using databases and Microsoft Excel
• Strong professional communication and client relationship skills
• Superior administrative and organizational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Understands the role the Toronto International Film Festival plays in the annual film festival circuit
• Familiar with the major distribution and sales companies currently active within the film industry
• Fluency in foreign languages is considered an asset
• Adaptable to a flexible work schedule including some evenings and weekends
