This will be an exciting year for TIFF as we present unique programming in our new home and the world's premier centre for film, TIFF Bell Lightbox. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who wants to be part of a new era in Toronto's cultural history.
The Film Reference Library is a special library devoted to the study of film as art and the industry. We are hiring a part-time Library Clerk during our public hours only (Thursday & Saturday shifts). The Library Clerk reports to the Senior Library Manager. In this position the Library Clerk will assist Library staff with patron and in-hours services.
Shall include but not be limited to...
• Retrieves and shelves all formats of library materials
• Greets library patrons and clients; answers directional questions
• Keeps statistics
• Shifts collections
• Processes incoming materials
Contract Dates: September 5 – December 31, 2013
• High school diploma
• Technologically proficient with strong public-service orientation
• Exemplary telephone and inter-personal communications skills
• Strong interest in cinema
• Able to lift 30 lbs
• Able to work weekends and flexible shifts
