Stevie Nicks: In Your Dreams

An unprecedented immersion in the creative process of two rock legends, In Your Dreams takes us inside the home recording studio of Stevie Nicks, as she and producer Dave Stewart (of Eurythmics fame) join forces to create Nicks’ first solo album in more than a decade. With cameras in tow, the duo explore, fine-tune, argue over guitar solos and the grammatical “rules” of songwriting (Nicks passionately argues there should be none), and reflect on formative experiences both past and present. Speaking candidly in interviews about Fleetwood Mac’s rise to fame after she and Lindsey Buckingham joined the band in 1974, and discussing her current sources of inspiration — ranging from childhood memories to past relationships to Bob Dylan, Edgar Allan Poe, and the movies she loves — Nicks reveals herself as both a seen-it-all rock n’ roll survivor and a powerful and enduring creative force. Intimate, enlightening and electrifying, In Your Dreams is a once-in-a-lifetime look into the life and art of one of the key musical artists of our time

"True fans will find their gold dust woman as the doc unspools, witnessing the creative machinery behind her songwriting process, as Nicks makes the 2011 album of the same name in her California home studio." — Linda Barnard, Toronto Star
