Film Description

Boule et Bill

A film adaptation of the comic series created by Jean Rogan in 1959. It relates the adventures of seven-year-old boy Boule and his dog Bill, a cocker spaniel, as well as that of Boule`s mother and father and Caroline the turtle.

Buddy is an abandoned young cocker spaniel waiting dejectedly in his cage for a kind, new owner to adopt him. Suddenly, Billy, a little boy whose hair is as red as Buddy's, appears. It's love at first sight and the beginning of a great friendship. Not so much for Billy's parents, however... This is where the trouble begins!

""Billy and Buddy" manages to maintain the kind of brisk giddiness that many animated films struggle to achieve." - Sheri Linden, Los Angeles Times
