Services
The FRL offers fee-based services such as scanning, image reproduction, in-depth research, and photo duplication services. Find more information, user instructions and service request forms under the following:
- Digital image requests (scanning of photographs, slides and transparencies from the FRL collections)
- Reproduction requests (reproductions of photographs, slides and transparencies from the FRL collections)
- In-depth research requests (research conducted by FRL staff)

PLEASE NOTE that the Library does not clear copyright for material for which it does not own copyright. It is a serious issue, so please take time to review the Copyright Guidelines for reference. See the User Guide & Policies for general information about using the Library and the FRL’s privacy, security, acquisition and other policies.
Other Fee-Based Services
Photo duplication
15 cents per page
Users copy their own material. However, if you are unable to copy the material yourself, the Library staff will copy and send you the material. You will be invoiced for staff time, a page rate and postage.
Special Collections Photo duplication
30 cents per page + $10.00 handling fee (up to 20 pages)
There is no self-serve photocopying of Special Collections materials. Some records may not be able to be copied for
