Commissioned specially for the Dickens bicentennial celebrations and originally broadcast on BBC's Arena programme, Dickens on Film is a comprehensive exploration of Charles Dickens' contribution to the history of film and television. Produced by the curator of our Dickens programme, Adrian Wootton, and written by Michael Eaton, the film uses a wealth of archival footage of classic and less familiar adaptations from 1898 to the present day, and features revealing interviews with the creative talent involved in many versions of Dickens' works.

With an introduction and Q&A by Adrian Wootton.
