Romero, the Godfather of Zombiedom himself joins TIFF International Programmer Colin Geddes on Halloween night for a celebration of his legendary career. A true maverick of American independent cinema, Romero has worked outside the mainstream studio system for over five decades as a writer, producer and director of such groundbreaking horror classics as Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Martin, The Crazies and Creepshow, redefining the genre through a clever blend of outrageous gore and radical social and political allegory.
