With over three decades of work for stage, screen and television and lauded performances in such films as Places in the Heart, The Color Purple, To Sleep With Anger, The Royal Tenenbaums and the Lethal Weapon series, Danny Glover is one of the most recognized and beloved actors of his generation, as well as a tireless advocate for civil and human rights worldwide. On December 1st, Mr. Glover joins Cameron Bailey, Artistic Director of the Toronto International Film Festival, for a look back on his long career as both actor and activist. He'll then be joined by his producing partner Joslyn Barnes to discuss their efforts, through their company Louverture Films, to develop new talents and break new ground in socially conscious cinema.
