Skip to schedule and film credits
Contemporary World Cinema provides a global "snapshot" of the best in cinema from around the world, with a focus on non-English language, art house films that are unlikely to be widely released.

Cameron Bailey, Artistic Director, Toronto International Film Festival and Noah Cowan, Artistic Director, TIFF Bell Lightbox are joining forces to program this upcoming season of Reel Talk Contemporary World Cinema. Bailey and Cowan will alternate selections and hosting throughout the run of the series, engaging audiences with candid introductions, thought-provoking post-film discussions and Q&A sessions with special guests.

Please join us before each screening for complimentary coffee, tea and pastries! Then stay afterward for interactive and candid, post-film discussions. Screenings take place at TIFF Bell Lightbox and each month's surprise film is revealed when you take your seat.

Due to popular demand for subscriptions to this series, TIFF has added a second Sunday morning screening to accommodate all interested audiences. Reel Talk Contemporary World Cinema now has two screenings on the same selected date each month. These screenings will begin at 10am and 10:30am. Any current Reel Talk subscriber who purchased a 10am subscription has the option to switch to the 10:30am subscription. If you wish to switch your subscription time, please contact the box office by Tuesday, May 15.
