Screenwriter Karen Walton introduces the modern Can-horror classic.

- Karen Walton is a multiple award-winning screen and television writer-producer whose credits include the original cult horror film Ginger Snaps, the BBC America/Space Channel series Orphan Black, as well as Flashpoint, Queer as Folk (US), and The Eleventh Hour. A graduate of The Canadian Film Centre's Feature Film Writers program, Walton has received numerous awards and recognitions, including a Gemini Award, a Canadian Comedy Award, the Sondra Kelly Memorial Award, and a Writers Guild of Canada?s Writers Block Award. She is currently working on the first feature film adaptation of Ian Hamilton's celebrated Ava Lee Mystery novels The Water Rat of Wanchai for Strada Films & Union Pictures.
