Pass holders must present their passes when entering Press & Industry screenings.
Passes will be scanned at the entrance of each cinema. Where scanning is unavailable, Press delegates are required to sign in at each screening.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the screening’s scheduled start time. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please do not leave empty seats in the middle of the row. Rush seating is less disruptive to the rest of the audience if empty seats are available on the aisles.
Standing at the back of the theatre or sitting in the aisles is not allowed.
When a screening is full, a Rush line is formed. If there are empty seats available just prior to the screening, people from the Rush line may be admitted.
The Industry Networking Pass only offers Rush access to Press & Industry screenings. Industry Networking Pass holders will only be admitted to Press & Industry screenings if space is available, following the seating of the regular line.
Sales Agents may only collect business cards in the lineups, but can hand out sales sheets both inside and outside the cinema. They may take a seat after all of the line has entered, if seats are available.
All attendees must leave the cinema directly following each screening.
All films have been rated by the Ontario Film Review Board. Pass holders will be admitted to screenings in accordance with the film rating. Please consult tiff.net/festival or the Official Film Schedule for the rating.
All Festival venues are wheelchair accessible. If you require accessible or companion seating, please contact the Festival Box Office in advance by calling 416-599-TIFF, or toll-free 1-888-599-8433, so we can ensure that your needs are met.
Programmes and Schedules are subject to change without notice. Please check tiff.net/industry for the most up-to date information.
Additional Press & Industry screenings may be added in some cases; delegates may attend these screenings on a first-come, first-served basis.
Screenings will be monitored for unauthorized recording. Cameras and recording devices are strictly prohibited. It is illegal to make a copy of a film without permission of the copyright owner. By attending a screening, you consent to a physical search of your belongings and person. Toronto International Film Festival Inc. (“TIFF Inc.”) reserves the right to undertake anti-piracy measures and expel any unauthorized person caught recording or photographing, to confiscate pirated material, and to report any unauthorized recording to law enforcement, which may subject you to criminal and civil liability.
Access to the Filmmakers’ Lounge in the Hyatt Regency Hotel is granted to all pass holders on presentation of their pass.
Access to Industry Programmes (Industry Dialogues, Moguls, Doc Conference, Telefilm Canada PITCH THIS! and Master Class) is granted to all pass holders when they present their pass to venue staff at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the session. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Mavericks presentations are public events. A ticket (subject to availability) will be required to gain access.
Pass holders must have a ticket to attend any Public screening. Public screenings are listed in the Official Film Schedule or online at tiff.net/festival.
A limited number of Priority Press Screenings have been added to the Press & Industry Screening Schedule. Delegates with Priority Pass access have until 15 minutes prior to the scheduled screening start time to claim a seat. At 15 minutes prior to screening start, other delegates will be admitted, subject to availability. Priority access is only in effect for Priority Press screenings.
