ICFF Jr. is the annual film programme of the Italian Contemporary Film Festival that promotes film as an art form using the platform of Italian Cinema, while providing students (ages 8-18) with exposure to Italian culture and language. It provides educators with an alternative teaching method that respects a variety of learning styles. In a multicultural and culturally vibrant environment such as the city of Toronto, film is the perfect medium to facilitate a variety of different learning experiences. This includes media literacy, exposure to Italian language and culture and the development of critical and analytical skills for students of all ages in Toronto and the GTA.

The 8th Annual Canadian Sport Film Festival brings powerful stories on screen that highlight the ways in which sport; recreation; and play matter, and offer opportunities for social change for people around the world.
With billions of eyes on the upcoming summer Olympics, we know people will be looking at Rio’s stadiums, as well as its challenging social issues. Opening Night film Fighting for Peace takes viewers to Brazil and goes behind the scenes of boys in Rio’s Maré favela who fight to fulfill their way to the dream of becoming national boxing champs. The festival features the remarkable resilience of people from all over the world who find hope through sport.

Inside Out is a not-for-profit registered charity that exists to challenge attitudes and change lives through the promotion, production and exhibition of film and video made by and about lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) people of all ages, races and abilities.
For more than two decades, Inside Out has brought Toronto's LGBT community together in celebration of the best queer film from Canada and around the world. Through our annual Festivals in Toronto and Ottawa, our filmmaker initiatives, our youth engagement and our year-round events and screenings, Inside Out is engaged every day in challenging attitudes and changing lives.

The Italian Contemporary Film Festival has become among the most important Italian film festivals in the world. It takes place every June during Ontario’s “Italian Heritage Month.” All films are in Italian or other foreign languages and subtitled in English.
Every year the festival presents an international collection of feature films, documentaries and shorts, including premieres, advance screenings and independent films. Screenings are supplemented by guest appearances by filmmakers, actors, authors, academics and other expert speakers and complemented by Q&A sessions.
