Gerry Flahive

Gerry Flahive has produced more than 75 films and interactive projects during his 30 years at the NFB, including HIGHRISE, a multi-year, many-media documentary project. HIGHRISE: Out My Window won a 2011 Emmy and IDFA's first-ever Digital Storytelling Award. Recent projects include Paris 1919, Waterlife, I Was a Child of Holocaust Survivors, Invisible City; The End of Time, Surviving Progress, and Cold Morning (2009 Venice Biennale). Flahive has been a frequent contributor to the Globe and Mail and has been published in Time, The New York Times, The International Herald Tribune, Toronto Star, Playback, Realscreen, P.O.V. and The Los Angeles Times.
