Our camps and workshops offer children an exciting adventure in filmmaking. Join us during March Break and in the summer for these hands-on experiences. Teachers can book workshops for their class during the school year.

A month-long filmmaking programme for young filmmakers learning basic film skills and then creating a short film with the guidance of industry professionals. The fourweek session will culminate with a premiere of their film for friends and family at TIFF Bell Lightbox. This summer's session ran from June 29 – July 24 - check back soon for upcoming sessions.
Jump Cuts presents short films created for young people, by young people. This high profile showcase gives selected Ontario filmmakers in grades 9–12 the exciting opportunity to see their short films on the big screen at TIFF Bell Lightbox. Check back in early 2017 for details on how to apply.
A new initiative that looks to extend the Next Wave connection year-round. This club meets monthly and brings industry guests, emerging film-makers and film-lovers together for dialogue, engagement and film screenings at TIFF. For free.
